About Bill Lewis Lures

Bill Lewis was a decorated World War II bomber pilot that grew up in the small town of Laurel, MS. After flying over 30 missions in WWII, Bill returned home and went on to develop the legendary Rat-L-Trap in the 1960s. With over 350 size and color combinations, the Rat-L-Trap has solidified itself as a staple in the hard-bait world. In recent years, Bill Lewis Lures has worked closely with its pro-staff and customer base to bring even more offerings in other shapes and sizes of hard baits aside from our legendary lipless baits. Some of these new products are inspired by innovative, original designs and others have been developed out of the desire to improve on existing designs. One thing is sure - all Bill Lewis products are held to a high standard of performance and made with quality.
